Care Instructions:

Keep the CocoTurf™ Pee Pad dry and protect it from rain.

Flip or replace the pad with a new CocoTurf™ Refill if your dog has had runny stool that's difficult to clean.

Allow soft stools to dry completely before gently picking them up.

Disposal: Use a commercial compost bin for best results.

Important: Do not use the same Pee Pad for more than 2 months.

Reloading the CocoTurf™ Pee Pad:

1. Remove any stool before starting.

2. Find a flat surface near a compost bin.

3. Unfold the side flaps (tucked, not glued).

4. Slide the tray out carefully, avoiding stool.

5. Replace the pad with a fresh CocoTurf™ Refill.

6. Slide the tray back in and tuck flaps to seal odors.

1. Place the Pee Pad: Set up the CocoTurf™ Pee Pad in the area where your puppy spends most of their time.

2. Let Them Explore: Allow your puppy to sniff and explore the pad at their own pace.

3. Use Verbal Cues: When your puppy shows signs of needing to go, guide them to the pad with cues like "go potty" or "potty here."

4. Guide After Key Moments: Direct your puppy to the pad immediately after playtime, drinking water, or eating.

5. Regular Guidance: Take your puppy to the pad every 30 minutes to reinforce the habit.

6. Praise & Reward: Reward and praise your puppy immediately after they use the pad.

Tip: Keep your puppy’s pen small, with just their bed, food, water, and the CocoTurf™ pad. This encourages them to use the pad rather than going near their bed.

Extra Tip: If your puppy is struggling, be firm in your training. If they’re refusing to use the pad, don’t give in. Eventually, they’ll need to go, and they’ll use the pad. It might feel counterintuitive, but it’s all part of the process.

For optimal performance, we recommend replacing the CocoTurf™ Pee Pad every month. While you may extend its use by replacing the pad refill weekly or bi-weekly, it’s ultimately up to you to determine what works best based on your dog’s bathroom habits.

To save on monthly costs, consider extending the life of your CocoTurf™ Pee Pad with weekly refill replacements. For optimal product quality and performance, we do not recommend extending its use past 2 months.

Not a problem! First, clean up any excess pee. Then, to help the pad dry, lift it by placing something small—like a cup or rolled-up towel—underneath. This will allow air to circulate and dry out the bottom of the cardboard. Leave it for about 2 hours, and your pad will be as good as new.
